ITANZBC delegates participated in the 2018 International Indigenous Economic Development Forum in Hualien, organized and hosted by Taiwan’s Council of Indigenous Peoples. Our delegates found the forum to be well run, interesting and appropriate.
The morning session included indigenous performing groups, opening remarks by a Taiwan government official, as well as a keynote speaker from the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, while the afternoon session featured delegate’s choice of workshops including Entrepreneurship, Agriculture or Creative Industries. The workshops were of a good variety, well arranged with quality speakers.
