Indigenous Forum Concludes

The third and final day of the 2018 International Indigenous Economic Development Forum in Hualien, Taiwan included presentations by New Zealand and Taiwan Indigenous representatives on their business. The presentations gave delegates ideas that they could take back and apply in their own indigenous organizations.

ITANZBC Chairman, Doug Gartner, gave a presentation to the forum attendees on New Zealand community building experience. A Maori Tourism group, Footsteps Wairoa, also presented on their experiences.  At the conclusion of the two New Zealand presentations, all of the New Zealand delegates went up on stage to perform a familiar waiata.
